The Customer Advisory Council 60plus from Postbank
The future needs experience
Birth rates are decreasing – life expectancy is increasing. Postbank is reacting to the demographic change in society and is putting the focus back on senior citizens. In order to profit from the experience of this important and particularly loyal target group, Postbank established a customer advisory council 60plus in March 2006, a council which began with 21 members/Postbank customers. Due to the extremely positive response, we have increased the member count to 1,500 (members). These selected Postbank customers between the ages of 60 and 75 will put the Postbank products, services and customer service to the test and will then provide suggestions on improvements.
“We are not planning for seniors, but with seniors because the future needs experience,” is how Prof. Ursula Lehr, gerontologist and patron of the customer advisory council 60plus, summarized the function of the committee.
