    Deutsche Postbank AG - London Branch is a branch of Deutsche Postbank AG. It is responsible for a credit portfolio of approximately EUR 4 billion, with 40 employees. The main business segment is large-volume, structured financing of commercial real estate in the United Kingdom and Western Europe. The financing can be hedged against interest rate and currency risks using derivatives. Refinancing of its business in British pounds, euro or US dollars is carried out either on the UK money and capital market or via Post-bank in Germany. Deutsche Postbank London Branch is managed by Ingo Husemeyer and Bruce Matthews.

    As a general rule, Deutsche Postbank AG - London Branch acts as the lead manager for real estate financing and is therefore the direct contact for both investments in the United Kingdom and English and international customers who want to invest throughout Europe. For your individual, large-volume and structured real estate financing, the London Branch offers the necessary hedging instruments against interest rate and currency risks. For this reason it employs its own Treasury Team. A new business segment is financing public investments by means of private investors in the form of Public Private Partnership (P.P.P.) and Private Finance Initiative (P.F.I.).

    Deutsche Postbank AG – London Branch offers institutional real estate investors tailor-made commercial real estate financing. The products are structured in accordance with the specific financing needs of the customer. In addition to real estate that has already been built and let, the London Branch also finances new development and refurbishment projects as well as land acquisitions. As a general rule, the financing volume is between EUR 10 million and EUR 300 million. Larger volumes are syndicated to other banks. In addition investments in real estate financing structured by third parties are taken.

    The London Branch of Postbank places particular emphasis on the Islamic Finance business segment and cooperates with real estate investment funds that conform to Sharia law and invest worldwide.
