As of immediately, Postbank is offering bearer bonds. They are called ”Postbank Schätze” (Postbank Treasures) and are quoted and traded at the Frankfurt stock exchange. The bonds are available with terms of five, seven or ten years. Correspondingly, the interest rates lie between 4.85 and 5.25 percent.
With this new bond, Postbank is focusing in particular on private customers who are interested in a secure and flexible alternative to investing in stocks and shares. The bonds will be traded in denominations from Euro 100. Hence, small investors can also take advantage of the high quality, attractive interest rates and the fast availability of these bonds.
