Postbank is currently expanding its range of products for medium-sized business clients. In cooperation with DER Business Travel, Postbank has developed the Postbank VISA Business Card, which – from now on – will make business travel all the more comfortable and simplify travel expense management. In addition to the classical credit cart function, services include the booking of business trips through DER Business Travel, special rates for selected hotel chains and rental car companies as well as protection and assistance when abroad. Postbank plans to increasingly assist – as the house bank – the self-employed, entrepreneurs and medium-sized businesses. To this end, Postbank is developing products for the areas of financial transactions, financing, investments and pensions, specially tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Postbank VISA Business Card is accepted at 18 million places worldwide as a cashless means of payment or for obtaining cash. Using this card, business travellers are able to save a considerable part of the so-called indirect travel costs, resulting from the booking of the trip, the disbursement of cash advances as well as the final settlement: for example by booking the business trip through DER Business Travel or the evaluation of the card turnover with reports. To this end, the VISA Business Card turnovers are settled using a company account or the private account of the company employee. For a fee, logo and name of the company can be clearly printed at the head of the cards, thus making the Business Card a liquid corporate visiting card.

Cash-back for frequent travellers
The “Classic” Postbank VISA Business Card costs DM 60 per year. The “Gold” Business Card, incorporating an insurance package, will initially cost DM 160 DM p.a. Depending on the sales turnover, this fee will be reimbursed either partially or completely. Hence, the VISA Business Card Gold costs only half from an annual turnover in excess of DM 15,000 and is free for annual turnovers in excess of DM 25,000.
