New online banking service for private and corporate customers/ All credit card information at a glance
Postbank is offering a new online banking service free to private and business customers. As of now customers can access the most important information concerning their credit cards via the Internet. For example, the Online Credit Card Service provides a transaction history, the credit limit and the total balance and account statements.
The "Web Statement" displays all relevant transactions. It shows the cardholder's individual credit card purchases with the transaction and purchase dates, together with the place of transaction, exchange rate and the amount in Euro and – where applicable – those referring to a supplementary card member.
This service is available for all Postbank credit cards for private customers (VISA Card, EUROCARD, the Double Gold card and EUROCARD GOLD) as well as for those for business customers (VISA Corporate Card, VISA Business Card Classic and VISA Business Card Gold).
Customers who wish to use this new additional function require a Postbank current account managed online or a business current account, from which the credit card balance can be paid by direct debit. Additionally, the main cardholder must also be the account holder.
Further information about the online credit card service and application forms are available to interested parties from Postbank Direct Service on the telephone number 0180-30 40 500, in Deutsche Post branches (for private customers) or on the Internet under www.postbank.de . Business customers can consult the Postbank Business Center on the hotline 0180-44 40 400. A test account is available on the Internet for demo purposes. There, customers can see the features of the new service and try them out for themselves.
