Postbank easytrade offers Deutsche Post bonds to private clients
Following on from the great success with institutional investors, private clients can buy Deutsche Post AG bonds at Postbank Easytrade from October 8, 2002. Postbank, as senior co-lead manager, has secured an appropriate volume for its private clients. The issue, which is listed and traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, has been put into circulation in two tranches. The securities are available with a five or a ten year term. The nominal interest is at 4.25 and 5.125 percent respectively. The Deutsche Post issue was several times oversubscribed by institutional investors within a short period of time.
Postbank is primarily directing this offer at private clients who are seeking a secure and flexible alternative to investment in shares. The securities are already being traded at Euro 100 and above.
