Horst Küpker is the new Board of Management member responsible for Financial Markets at Deutsche Postbank
The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Postbank AG has appointed Horst Küpker as a Board of Management member of Deutsche Postbank AG with effect from July 1, 2008. He will assume responsibility for Financial Markets on this date from Loukas Rizos, who is known to be leaving the Bank. The Supervisory Board and Board of Management have thanked Mr. Rizos emphatically for his successful work at Postbank.
Horst Küpker is responsible for Postbank’s Treasury. He has been working for Postbank since 2004, employing his extensive expertise as a division manager. After graduating from a university of applied sciences with a business management degree, Küpker learnt his trade in various positions, starting at the bottom. After stops at a broker’s in Hamburg and Norddeutsche Hypotheken- und Wechselbank AG (Hamburg), he switched to Stadtsparkasse Dresden in 1997 where he was Treasury Division Manager. Between 2000 and 2004, he was the General Manager responsible for the Treasury/Asset Liability Management activities of Dexia Hypothekenbank AG in Berlin. Horst Küpker was born in Vechta (Germany) in 1961. He is married with two children.
