Postbank Supervisory Board elects Rainer Neske as Chairman

The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Postbank AG elected Rainer Neske as its Chairman at an extraordinary meeting today. He will succeed Dr. Frank Appel of Deutsche Post AG on January 1, 2011. Appel will resign with effect from December 31, 2010 in order to facilitate the transition of Postbank to the new majority shareholder Deutsche Bank AG.
Rainer Neske represents the “Private & Business Clients” division on Deutsche Bank's Board of Management. He has global responsibility for business with the private and retail clients of Deutsche Bank AG.
